Ajmer: According to the Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) calendar, recruitment examinations are continuing. Only one recruitment examination will be held in October, while November and December will be the key months. More than 6 lakh candidates will appear in these examinations.
The commission had released the calendar for recruitment examinations for 12,143 posts, covering January 2026 to November, last December.
Under it, the following examinations had been held up to September: Deputy Commandant and Lecturer (Ayush); Junior Chemist; Assistant Electrical Inspector-Assistant Engineer Combined Recruitment (Main) Examination; Sub-Inspector/Platoon Commander-2025; Sub-Inspector Recruitment Re-examination-2021; Assistant Prosecution Officer (Preliminary) Examination; Factory and Boiler and Chemical Inspector; Veterinary Officer; Assistant Agricultural Engineer and Professor; Professor (Agriculture) and Coach (Secondary Education Department); Senior Teacher Recruitment (Secondary Education); and Junior Law Officer Examination.

RPSC awaiting new recruitments
The RPSC is also awaiting new recruitments. From January to September this year, the commission has received recruitment requests for only 1,102 posts. Major recruitments include the RAS-Subordinate Service recruitment. Recruitments from school and college education, technical education, agriculture and other departments have not been received.

Only RAS Main Examination in 2027 for now
For 2027, the commission’s calendar currently has only the RAS Main Examination-2026 scheduled. It will be held on 1 and 2 May 2027.
